2023 Fall Meeting
“Roots to Shoots –Building the Future”
September 19-20th
Great Wolf Lodge, Grand Mound, WA
Join us as we partner with the Pacific Logging Congress “Live in the Woods Event” to discuss the future of the timber industry with special student guests from the Oregon Future Natural Resource Leaders. During this meeting, we will be covering several topics, including federal updates from Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s office, along with presentations on carbon and business expansion plans. We will also have an update on the Oregon Board of Forestry and their efforts surrounding the development of a Habitat Conservation Plan that will affect timber outputs from Oregon. Finally, we will hear a follow-up on the Washington DNR and their efforts to produce a carbon sequestration project and an update to their sustained yield calculation.
We invite you to join us a day early to network during our activity day on September 19th.
Choose to participate in either a round of golf at the Riverside Golf and Bistro or enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting at the Great Wolf Lodge.
This year's Pacific Logging Congress' "Live in the Woods Show" is being held in Vail, WA, September 21-23. This show will showcase both the Weyerhaeuser Vail Tree Farm as well as active and static industry displays. The active sites provide an excellent opportunity to view the latest technology in timber harvesting equipment. To register and/or volunteer, click here.
Registration can also be done onsite and costs $20.
We look forward to seeing you, and please feel free to reach out to Lindsay Warness, Western Region Manager, at [email protected] if you have any questions.
